The Marblehead Female Humane Society has been facilitating a biannual Service Provider roundtable meeting since 2018. This was started by us when we realized that even though we’re a small town, many town administrators, non-profits and members of the community were not aware of the many support services available to our community.
We invited all the town departments and community organizations who provide support and guidance to the Marblehead community to join together and share what they do. Initially all were asked to complete a form with vital descriptive and contact information that was distributed to all the members.
Programs and services are described and updated, new initiatives are explained and available funds for resources are identified. Collaborative relationships have developed and resources shared.
During Covid we met totally by Zoom. We have continued to have our meetings every 6 months. Members are listed on the town website under Community Resources.
